"The sea is His, and He made it: and His hands formed the dry land."

Who Are The Christadelphians?
The Sydney Companion Christadelphian Ecclesia meets weekly for Sunday School, meetings to remember Jesus, Bible Talks, Interviews and Forums.
As Christadelphians, we are a group of Christians who base our beliefs entirely on the Bible and its message about Jesus and about God's coming Kingdom. We welcome you on Sundays and would be pleased to talk with you and share the hope we have for the future.
We are a lay group, with no paid clergy or members. We meet in groups called “Ecclesias” in premises from individual members’ homes to rented halls. Some Ecclesias own their own premises. We meet every first day of the week for a Memorial meeting; here we worship God and remember His Son who died that we might have an opportunity for life eternal. We have preaching meetings, Bible study sessions, Sunday Schools and social activities.
Background to the Christadelphians...
In the year 1455 Johann Gutenberg printed the first Bible in moveable type starting a revolution in the study of the Bible. Over the centuries, groups of individuals read their Bible, and many were convinced that they had rediscovered Bible truths that had been concealed by the church, such as adult baptism. It wasn't long before the traditional church reacted with often brutal persecution to crush this new movement. However, the Truth survived and spread throughout the world, despite efforts to keep it concealed.
In America in 1865 John Thomas helped a group of "baptised believers" to obtain exemption from military service. The group needed a name to be known by and so the name "Christadelphian" (meaning Christ's brethren) came into existence being based on the Greek word for Brother - "Adelphos". These people believed that their study of the Bible had resulted in an understanding of God's Truth - the same Truth that had been taught by Jesus and his apostles.
Today we meet under the same name, with belief in the same Truth. Christadelphians meet every week to commemorate Christ's death and resurrection, waiting for the return of Christ to the earth and the judgment that will follow - judgment that, with God's grace, will result in a place in the new Kingdom of God.
Sydney Companion Ecclesia
The Sydney ecclesia meets every Sunday at Glenbrook, in the lower Blue Mountains. Our members come from all around the Sydney area each Sunday in friendship and love.
Each Sunday we have our Sunday School where children and young people have an opportunity to learn about the Bible. This is followed by our Memorial Meeting where baptised members hear a talk on the Bible and partake of the bread and wine, symbols of the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. In this way we are able to remember him, his death, and resurrection and look forward to his return. In the afternoon we gather once more, young and old alike, in an afternoon activity. This changes from week to week, and may be a Bible Talk or presentation, a youth group meeting, a Biblical centred video or DVD or a discussion forum.
